NeuroVault is a high performance digital data recorder which captures data from the Emotiv EEG Headset and combines it with data from a variety of other sources. All data is synchronised so that during playback you can review EEG readings, in 200ms intervals, with its associated audio, video data. The professional version, due late January or early February, will include many additional features including recording and playback of all cognitive events and raw EEG data. A Typical NeuroVault Task A game developer would use NeuroVault to capture a gamer putting a new game through its paces. Afterwards, they could playback synchronised video, audio and EEG data, and see immediately which events in the game excited the player, or were frustrating, challenging or just downright boring. Because NeuroVault lets you review the data at your leisure, its very easy to visualise the exact events which trigger changes in emotional state. Soon, using our stand-alone NeuroView utility, other interested parties can review the data in the boardroom, at a developers meeting or in fact, from anywhere, because NeuroView supports remote streaming via the internet. |

All Windows Compatible Audio & Video Input Devices Video and Audio can be captured using any Windows DirectX compatible video source, from a $15 web cam, to top of the range professional video processing equipment. You have full control of the signal source, permitting you for example, to combine audio from the video source device with a live commentary from the PC's microphone. All the popular TV Tuner cards, Satellite TV and Video Capture devices are also supported, permitting you for example to record mental state while watching TV advertisements. Perhaps at last, we might be able to detect when ads come on and kill the audio? |

| DV Recorders (Firewire and USB) can also be controlled from NeuroVault via the DV Remote panel (Rew, FFwd, Play, Stop etc). We are also working on a Pro version, which will allow you to automatically record direct to a DV Recorder, with the device being controlled by a set of 'Mental State' rules. |

The application has been designed to facilitate custom data input devices. When monitoring in an industrial environment, its important to also be able to record the current state of other external equipment. the Lantronix XPort is an Ethernet to SPI interface module. By adding support for the XPort, any industrial equipment using SPI will be able to send its data to NeuroVault via standard Ethernet network connection. | |
